I have been watching my credit like a hawk for the past 2 years because I want to purchase a home, so I signed up for my credit keeper which at the time seemed to be a very good thing at the time.
My story mirrors your story. Just this past June after working and watching my credit, my spending habits and writing letters and time, I pulled my credit based on the credit score from my credit keeper I thought I was ready to apply for a mortgage loan and would receive a good interest rate, I even proudly told the lender that I just reviewed all three credit reports and my score. When he pulled my report and scores and told me what he has I was floored because the differences in scores were 75 points. This was devastating to me. I just knew he had done something wrong.
My credit keeper has once again given false hope. So now I am using the mortgage company’s credit report as my point of reference not my credit keeper.
